Peru's Prime Minister Guido Bellido on Thursday affirmed that the reduction in domestic gas price is a result of everyone's contribution.
"We have access to gas at a fair price of S/35 (about US$8.5). This shows the efforts of everyone in a people-oriented government," he posted on Twitter.
Later, the Cabinet chief visited Lima's Villa Maria del Triunfo district to participate in the opening of a new medical oxygen plant.
After that, several points of sale in Lima and provinces lowered the 10kg gas cylinder price, and now it can be purchased for S/35 (about US$8.5).
