Peru's FA Minister meets with President of Bolivia

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Elizabeth Astete met with the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia Luis Arce in the neighboring country's city of La Paz on Monday.

At the event, both dignitaries reaffirmed their willingness to continue deepening bilateral relations and advancing the bilateral agenda on common interest topics.

The Peruvian diplomat also held a working meeting with her Bolivian counterpart Rogelio Mayta.

Both of them reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the historic ties of friendship and cooperation uniting both countries, which are particularly necessary in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
