Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Mario Lopez on Thursday shared with member countries and partners of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) the national and international cooperation policies to achieve a strong, resilient, green, and inclusive recovery.

During the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting, Ambassador Lopez underscored Peru's belief in developing a global response to the economic and social consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a view to a transformative and sustainable recovery.

The Cabinet member also greeted the OECD on its upcoming 60th anniversary, reaffirming Peru's willingness to join the organization soon.

The OECD's mission is to shape better policies to improve the quality of life, promoting policies that favor prosperity, equality, opportunities, and well-being.

In collaboration with governments, public policy makers and citizens, it works to establish international standards and propose evidence-based solutions to various social, economic, and environmental challenges.
