As part of his schedule in Paris, Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea on Friday met with Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) Secretary-General Dimitri Kerkentzes to address joint cooperation initiatives —within the framework of the capacity building program for the benefit of countries participating in exhibitions worldwide.

The dignitaries talked about Peruvian participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai —an important platform that will continue to project our image and knowledge around the world.

They recalled that in Dubai 2020 the "Peru: timeless and eternal" pavilion had a great impact and won the award as the best in its category.

It is important to note that Peru chairs the Regulations Committee of the BIE —the organization in charge of international exhibitions officially promoted by a State.

Its work now is linked to the Osaka 2025 exhibition, as well as to the recently-chosen venues Belgrade 2027 and Riyadh 2030.
