Peru's Ambassador presents credentials in Denmark

Ambassador Augusto Ernesto Salamanca Castro presented to His Majesty King Frederik X the letters of credence accrediting him as Peruvian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Denmark.

During the audience held on Tuesday, the diplomat conveyed to His Majesty the greetings of the President of the Republic of Peru.

He also reaffirmed the Peruvian government's commitment to continue strengthening bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Denmark — a country with which Peru maintains a longstanding friendship and an expanding agenda in cooperation, trade, innovation, clean energy, and education.

His Majesty King Frederik X expressed appreciation to Peru for the reopening of its Embassy in Denmark.

Likewise, the monarch conveyed his interest in expanding and deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.

With this ceremony, Ambassador Salamanca Castro formally begins his diplomatic duties in the Kingdom of Denmark, reaffirming Peru's commitment to strengthening political dialogue, technical and scientific cooperation, cultural promotion, as well as the identification of economic and commercial opportunities for the benefit of both nations.
