The Inca citadel of Machu Picchu will welcome visitors as usual during the set schedule, complying with the respective capacity of 4,044 people per day, the Ministry of Culture has reported.

In a statement, the ministry highlighted the commitment of authorities to provide a pleasant experience to those who visit Machu Picchu during the upcoming days.

According to this document, the government agency indicated that it will continue to dialogue with representatives of various guilds, authorities, and civil society to improve the ticket sales system. As is known, Machu Picchu receives a maximum of 4,044 visitors per day.

In the release, the DDC Cusco remarked that there is currently "a high demand from visitors." In fact, the 1,000 tickets authorized for July 10 had sold out that date, which is why the organization asks visitors to take precautions.
