During the meeting, they addressed priority issues on the bilateral economic agenda, such as trade, investment, digital government, infrastructure, science and technology, and industrial technology.
As part of Higueras' visit to Seoul, from April 17 to 18, he will lead important working meetings to strengthen bilateral ties in key areas of mutual interest.
The friendly ties between Peru and the Republic of Korea are based on a bonding relationship essentially marked by a positive agenda and cooperation underpinned by common values such as promotion and defense of democracy, human rights and multilateralism, as well as international law.
Korea is the fourth main destination for Peruvian exports, a major investor in infrastructure projects, and a strategic partner in the field of digital development.
