Peru participated in the international mining event "Australian Gold Conference," where Peruvian Ambassador Vitaliano Gallardo was the keynote speaker on Tuesday.

In his presentation, the diplomat highlighted the importance of the Peru-Australia interconnection in mining.

The conference was given by the envoy to an audience of more than 200 investors and gold mining specialists.

The diplomatic mission head also noted the continuation of work in various fields where economic ties are developed, highlighting that Peru has low inflation, maintains its reserves, port infrastructure, favorable legal and commercial frameworks for investment and exports, dispute resolution, among other elements.

Peru's participation was highly appreciated and welcomed given the level of interconnection and knowledge of Peru's mining sector in Australia, the outstanding participation of Peruvian professionals in the Australian mining sector and the growing number of Peruvian students in leading schools of geology, mining engineering, sustainability, law, and mining economics in the host country.

The Peruvian exhibition has generated interest from the public, as it was well received by representatives of the Dubai-based World Gold Council, including Andrew Naylor and other prominent members of the mining industry.

The "Australian Gold Conference" took place from August 26-28.
