Peru's national soccer team on Monday completed their last training session before traveling to Spain for a friendly against the Basque Country later this week.

Peru's interim coach Roberto Mosquera has called a 21-member squad for the Dec. 28 match at the new San Mames stadium in Bilbao.

The list is dominated by home based players with only six plying their trade abroad.

Meanwhile, Euskadiko Fubtol Federakundea, the Basque Football Federation, announced Monday the squad of 22 players that will take part in their annual Christmas friendly fixture.

Unsurprisingly, the main contingent of players are from Athletic Club Bilbao with twelve making the squad. Elsewhere, there are six from Real Sociedad, two from Osasuna, plus one each from Celta Vigo and Real Madrid.

Amongst those making their first appearances for the Basque side, will be Oscar De Marcos of Athletic Club Bilbao, Roberto Torres of Osasuna and Asier Illarramendi of Real Madrid.

The Peruvian squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Diego Penny (Sporting Cristal), Erick Delgado (Juan Aurich)

Defenders: Christian Ramos (Juan Aurich), Jhoel Herrera (Real Garcilaso), Jair Cespedes (Juan Aurich), Giamarco Gambetta (San Martín), Yoshimar Yotun (Vasco da Gama, Brazil), Luis Advincula (Sporting Cristal), Alberto Rodriguez (Rio Ave, Portugal), Alvaro Ampuero (Padova, Italy).

Midfielders: Oscar Vilchez (Juan Aurich), Marcos Delgado (Sporting Cristal), Roberto Merino (Juan Aurich), Jorge Bazan (Alianza Lima), Edwin Retamoso (Real Garcilaso), Adan Balbin (San Martin), Cristian Benavente (Real Madrid Castilla, Spain), Juan Carlos Mariño (Delfines, Mexico), Rinaldo Cruzado (Newell's Old Boys, Argentina).

Strikers: Johan Fano (Leon de Huanuco), Daniel Chavez (César Vallejo).
