Peru: Presidential candidate Wolfgang Grozo casts vote

Presidential candidate Wolfgang Grozo Costa cast his vote around midday in Lima's San Borja district as part of the 2026 General Elections.

The Integridad Democratica (Democratic Integrity Party) representative voted at the Rosa Toro Sports Complex, located on the first block of the avenue of the same name.

Grozo was dressed in a white shirt and dark trousers when he cast his ballot.

Upon arriving at the polling place, he was greeted by some citizens present at the site.

More than 27 million Peruvians are heading to the polls today to elect the next President of the Republic, as well as vice presidents, senators, deputies, and Andean Parliament representatives, in an electoral process that began at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m.

The 2026 general elections began this Sunday at 7:00 a.m., with the participation of more than 27 million Peruvians, who can vote until 6:00 p.m. to choose their new authorities.

According to the voter registry, 13.8 million voters are women and 13.6 million are men. Lima has the largest number of voters, with 8,739,334, followed by the regions of La Libertad with 1,565,056 and Piura with 1,545,486.
