President Dina Boluarte on Tuesday pledged to expand workspaces for people with disabilities in the public sector and to seek more allies in the private sector for the same purpose.

"We are committed to continuing the search for more private partners, also ministries, as well as regional and local governments, to expand workspaces for you, people whom we love doubly," she expressed.

The Head of State participated in launch of the "For More Inclusive Companies" campaign, within the framework of the "Alliance for Labor Inclusion" on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

At the event, Mrs. Boluarte reaffirmed the government's political will towards this segment of the population.

"When we do things with love, affection, and commitment, what we call political will advances easily and begins to link commitments," she stated.

The top official stated that the Executive Branch is committed to the country and is working responsibly, with "soul, life and heart" to reach out to more than 33 million Peruvians.

"We are working in all regions building universities, bridges, roads, projects that were stalled; that is the love we put into our homeland. Today, we tell you from the government that we are committed to continuing to work in a coordinated manner, so we can provide you with workspaces," she said.

The president also highlighted the presence of business guild executives at the ceremony, calling on them to open spaces for people with disabilities in the private sector.

"The love and affection of the entire Cabinet, and especially of this female president, stays with you on this International Day of the people I love with all my heart," she pointed out.

The ceremony saw the participation of Ministers Daniel Maurate (Labor-Employment Promotion) and Morgan Quero (Education), among other authorities.
