Peru: President participates in Bicentennial School inauguration event

President Dina Boluarte on Tuesday participated in the inauguration ceremony of 7207 Mariscal Ramon Castilla Educational Institution in Lima's San Juan de Miraflores district.

The Head of State toured the educational institution facilities, built thanks to an investment of S/65 million (about US$17.32 million).

At the site, the top official talked with students, who explained to her how the productive workshops function.

Education Minister Morgan Quero accompanied President Boluarte during this activity.

The modern infrastructure of 7207 Mariscal Ramon Castilla School consists of four levels and two modules.

It will benefit over 1,500 students at the primary and secondary levels, in both morning and afternoon shifts.

In brief remarks to TVPeru, Mrs. Boluarte said that Bicentennial schools not only guarantee education but also promote entrepreneurial initiatives for students.
