Peru: President meets with authorities and leaders from Pasco and Huanuco

The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, met with leaders, local authorities, and representatives of civil society from Pasco and Huanuco regions, as well as from Lima's San Juan de Lurigancho district on Tuesday.

The meeting between the Head of State and authorities from the aforementioned jurisdictions aimed to hear their demands and coordinate responses, the Presidential Office reported on X.

During the session, participants addressed urgent project needs, particularly in healthcare, water, and sanitation, among other priority sectors.

The dignitaries in attendance included Ministers Juan Carlos Velasco (Health), Luis Jimenez (Justice-Human Rights), Maria Cuadros (Education), and Aldo Prieto (Transportation-Communications).

Congressman Pasion Davila also participated in the meeting.

This event took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
