Peru: President Boluarte swears in four new State Ministers

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Tuesday afternoon administered the oath of office to four new State Ministers who will lead the following sectors: Foreign Affairs; Foreign Trade and Tourism; Housing, Construction and Sanitation; plus Culture.

On this occasion, the Head of State swore in Elmer Jose German Gonzalo Schialer Salcedo as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The diplomat succeeds Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea Franco in the post.

Subsequently, Ursula Desilu Leon Chempen was sworn in as new Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism.

She replaces Elizabeth Galdo Marin in the Executive Branch.

Afterwards, Durich Francisco Whittembury Talledo was sworn in as new Minister of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation.

He succeeds Hania Perez de Cuellar Lubienska in office.

Lastly, the top official administered the oath of office to Fabricio Alfredo Valencia Gibaja, who has become Minister of Culture.

Thus, he replaces Leslie Carol Urteaga Peña in this position.

This ceremony took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
