The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte participated in the tribute to Santa Rosa de Lima (Saint Rose of Lima) on the occasion of her feast today.

The statue of the venerated saint was carried in procession through the streets of Lima's Historic Center, borne on a platform by Peruvian National Police personnel and nurses —guilds that recognize her as their Patroness.

While passing by the Main Square and the Government Palace, President Boluarte —accompanied by Ministers Morgan Quero (Education), Eduardo Arana (Justice), and Romulo Mucho (Energy-Mines)— stepped outside the Executive Branch headquarters.

There, the top official met with Peruvian National Police General Commander Victor Zanabria and Interior Minister Juan Santivañez.

Minutes earlier, the aforementioned Cabinet member, along with police officers, had been carrying the Saint Rose platform upon leaving Lima's Cathedral, where Mass was held in her honor.

The image of the saint stopped in front of the Government Palace, where the Head of State presented a floral offering and prayed.

In this section of the procession, the platform was carried by female members of the Saint Rose Brotherhood.

They invited President Boluarte to also carry the image platform, which she did for a few meters.

Afterwards, the procession continued. In turn, the top official and ministers returned to the Executive Branch headquarters
