on Thursday participated in the event marking the inauguration of the Bicentennial Dock in Callao.
Following a US$350 million investment, the Bicentennial Dock is the expansion of Callao Port's Southern Dock.
It will lead to serving up to three vessels simultaneously.
Similarly, the platform will host three new dock cranes and 12 electric yard cranes.
Besides, it will feature a total of 1,050 meters of dock and 400,000 square meters of yard.
The new capacity will facilitate reaching 2.7 million TEUs annually, resulting in an 80% rise.
