As part of the dialogue with Congressional groups,
led a meeting with the Avanza País parliamentary group on Monday, thereby strengthening the dialogue between the Executive and Legislative Branches.
"Together with the Prime Minister and the Ministers of Economy, Interior, and Education, key issues were addressed to continue fostering the country's development with unity and responsibility," the Presidency of the Republic reported on the X platform.
At the end of the meeting, Congressman Jose Williams stated that members of his parliamentary group raised several important issues, such as maintaining stability and order in the country throughout 2025 and 2026, so that the government transition occurs "without shocks or setbacks."
He also mentioned that discussions covered the economic management, which —as was emphasized— requires prudence; the situation of the State-run oil company Petroperu and finances; as well as specific issues such as the Mariano Melgar Stadium in Arequipa, connectivity, and the formalization of mining, among other topics.
"The conversation has been interesting and positive," Williams said in remarks to reporters.
When asked about the vote of confidence for the ministerial cabinet led by Eduardo Arana, Williams responded that they will listen to the Prime Minister's presentation before Congress and then make a decision.
Previously, President Boluarte had met with lawmakers from Honor y Democracia (Honor and Democracy), Somos Peru (We Are Peru), and Alianza Para el Progreso (Alliance for Progress) parties.
Meanwhile, the meeting with the Renovacion Popular (Popular Renewal) party, led by Prime Minister Eduardo Arana.
