"The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, held a meeting with U.S. Ambassador Bernie Navarro, during which the willingness to continue strengthening the strategic partnership between both countries was reaffirmed, specially emphasizing security, defense, and the promotion of strategic investments," the post indicated.
Likewise, the talks addressed the importance of ensuring that this year's electoral process abroad is conducted in a safe and orderly manner, particularly in the United States, where the largest community of Peruvian voters resides.
