During the meeting, the Head of state reaffirmed his commitment to the Amazon's sustainable development, the Presidential Office reported on X.
This includes "the native communities that make it up and the promotion of a technical working group to facilitate concrete solutions."
It also reported that the meeting was attended by Congresswoman Ana Zegarra, the regional governor, and mayors.
The event took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
