The
President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, received
Judiciary Chairwoman Janet Tello, who was joined by the Chair of the Superior Court of Justice of Lambayeque region.
The meeting aimed to boost the construction of four buildings to strengthen service capacity and improve the administration of justice.
These projects will be carried out through the Works for Taxes mechanism, the Presidential Office reported on X Monday night.
"The government expressed its willingness to carry out these investments, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the justice system for the benefit of citizens," the post stated.
The event took place at the Government Palace in Lima.
Meeting with Carabaya mayor
During the afternoon, the Head of State received the provincial mayor of Carabaya, along with the district mayors of Ayapata, Corani, and Crucero (Puno region) to coordinate actions aimed at boosting road projects and strengthening connectivity in the southern province.
Local authorities and residents also participated in the meeting at the Government Palace.
Through artistic performances, they conveyed gratitude for the efforts making it possible to improve connectivity and for the support of initiatives aimed at bringing development and greater opportunities to their communities.
