The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, reaffirmed his firm political will to work in coordination with district mayors from various regions to advance strategic projects.

During the meeting, the Head of State stressed that his administration prioritizes the continuity of projects in key sectors such as health, education, and transport, seeking to ensure these initiatives remain on track for the population's benefit.

Likewise, the President received representatives of urban transport associations from Lima and Callao at Government Palace to hear about the sector's situation and coordinate measures aimed at modernizing and improving the service.

At the session, which was attended by Prime Minister Denisse Miralles, actions were assessed to strengthen transport operators' security.

Measures were also evaluated to support the sector's economic recovery, which has been recently affected by external energy factors.

Earlier at Government Palace, the President of the Republic held a meeting with union representatives of higher and technical education teachers to reaffirm his commitment to strengthening this sector.

During the meeting, the main regulatory requirements needed to optimize teaching performance and ensure quality education for the benefit of thousands of young Peruvians were addressed.
