Peru: Over 70.1 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

70,255,480 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 26,525,028 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 80.9% of the target population.
Within this framework, 14,722,151 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 51.5% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
