Peru: Over 68 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

68,087,092 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 26,136,362 were given as second dose, thus accounting for 79.7% of the target population.
Within this framework, 13,200,402 citizens have been vaccinated with a third dose.

They also account for 46.2% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
