Peru names new Ambassador to Bolivia

The Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry has appointed Jose Manuel Domingo Boza as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

The appointment was made official by Supreme Resolution No. 087-2020-RE published Friday in the official newspaper El Peruano.

Corresponding credentials and full powers have been issued to the diplomat as provided by the aforementioned document.

A subsequent ministerial resolution will set the date on which the new Ambassador will officially take up his duties.

The resolution bears the signatures of President Martin Vizcarra and Foreign Affairs Minister Mario Lopez.

As is known, Ambassador Boza has been serving as Permanent Representative of Peru to the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington D.C.
