Via social media, the Executive Branch spokesman pointed out that from the institution he heads "we strongly reject these destabilizing political actions, which are hidden behind questionable jurisdictional provisions and reaffirm the politicization of justice."
"We, State Ministers, express our solidarity with the President," Adrianzen wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Likewise, the Cabinet chief called on political and social forces to "watch over the constitutional order."
"The President and the Cabinet are determined to continue working for economic reactivation and security. That is the priority. No one has thought about resigning due to this disproportionate action," he indicated.
At the Government Palace
The Prime Minister reported that the president is at the Lima-based Government Palace.
He added that she "will provide statements to the Prosecutor's Office when summoned."
The high-ranking official recalled that President Dina Boluarte had asked the Public Ministry to reschedule the date that had been set for her statement, but "strangely, they did not accept it."
"Despite this, she continues to collaborate with the Prosecutor's Office," Adrianzen said.
In his opinion, this situation constitutes "political noise" that "affects investments and the entire country."
"What has happened in the last few hours are disproportionate and unconstitutional actions," he expressed.
