Peru: Head of State participates in JNE's 94th anniversary ceremony

The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, took part on Monday in the solemn ceremony marking the 94th anniversary of the creation of the National Elections Board (JNE).

The official event was held in the auditorium of the Sheraton Hotel, in downtown Lima.

The ceremony was headed by JNE Chairman Roberto Burneo. It was attended by the full members of the electoral body, Judiciary Chairwoman Janet Tello, among other high-ranking officials.

The National Elections Board was established on May 26, 1931.

This organization is committed to strengthening Peru's democratic system and operates under the guiding principles of impartiality, independence, transparency, and efficiency.
