English proficiency has become a decisive tool for professional and academic advancement worldwide, serving as a passport to a borderless labor market.

However, a large share of the Peruvian population still remains at intermediate levels, which restricts access to scholarships, exchange programs, and better employment opportunities.

According to a study by DNA Human Capital, professionals with advanced English proficiency are up to 20% more sought after in the labor market.

This trend has boosted interest in training programs that offer internationally recognized certifications and methodologies aligned with global standards.

Against this backdrop, choosing an educational institution has become an increasingly strategic decision.

Among the main criteria considered by young people aged 16 to 18 are teaching quality, academic backing, certifications, and international partnerships.

"The findings show students are increasingly demanding and seek institutions that provide concrete tools for future academic and professional growth," said Alonso Bedoya, Institutional Development Manager at BRITANICO, an English language institute in Peru.

"Our challenge is to meet those expectations through pedagogical innovation and the continuous updating of our programs," he added.

Thus, English learning continues to position itself as an essential skill for workforce integration and professional training within an increasingly globalized market.
