— congratulated the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, on his election for a new term in office.
The corresponding electoral process was held between April 19 and June 1.
Via social media, Peru reiterated its commitment to continue strengthening the solid relations that characterize both countries, for the benefit of their populations.
Hindu-nationalist leader Narendra Modi was sworn in on Sunday as Prime Minister for a historic third consecutive term, during which he will have to govern in coalition for the first time, following close elections in which his party did not obtain a majority.
