Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey on Thursday welcomed Minister-Counselor Patricia Raez Portocarrero, who presented the credentials accrediting her as Peruvian Charge d’Affairs to the African nation.
As part of the audience, Minister Ayorkor and Charge d'Affairs Raez discussed a series of political, economic and business matters.
The authorities also addressed consular and cultural subjects.
In this sense, the government officials highlighted the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Peru and Ghana on Political Consultation, as well as the appointment of a Ghanaian Honorary Consul in Lima.
Lastly, the Foreign Minister wished the Peruvian envoy success in her mission, expressing hope that joint plans translate into concrete results, thus benefiting both nations.
