The Peruvian delegation made up of nearly 200 entrepreneurs in the agro-export chain participated from February 7 to 9 at Fruit Logistica 2024 in Berlin, Germany.

This is the world's largest trade fair for fruits and vegetables, with more than 2,770 exhibitors from 140 countries distributed in 25 pavilions, as well as more than 60,000 professional visitors, mostly purchasing decision makers.

The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (PromPeru) reported that visitors came mainly from Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

The products with the greatest interest at the fair were grapes, asparagus, mangoes, Hass avocado, pomegranates, citrus fruits, ginger, and blueberries.

In this regard, the participation of the Peruvian delegation sought to consolidate Peru's position as one of the main producers and exporters of fruits and vegetables in the world

The presentation of Peru at Fruit Logistica was carried out through a strategic alliance between the Association of Agricultural Producer Guilds of Peru (AGAP) and PromPeru, through its Trade Office Abroad (OCEX Hamburg).

The national pavilion included exhibition spaces for products from agro-export companies like Agronegocios La Grama, BeeFair Organic, Consorcio de Productores de Fruta, Danper, Del Sol Fresh, Dominus, Frutos Tropicales, Granjas Ingleby, Grupo Asica, JCH, La Campina and Viru.
