Peru appoints Honorary Consul in Gothenburg, Kingdom of Sweden

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Erik Isak Jeremias Danell as Peru's Honorary Consul in Gothenburg, Kingdom of Sweden.

His consular jurisdiction covers Bohuslan, Dasland, Halland, Ostergotland, Smaland, and Vastergotland.

This measure was made official through Supreme Resolution No. 135-2026-RE, published in the Legal Regulations bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano on Wednesday.

Accordingly, the corresponding letters patent are issued to him, as indicated in the resolution.

Likewise, the recitals state that the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given its consent to the appointment of Erik Isak Jeremias Danell as Peru's Honorary Consul in the city of Gothenburg.

His jurisdiction covers Bohuslan, Dasland, Halland, Ostergotland, Smaland, and Vastergotland.

Additionally, it specifies that the resolution is in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 11 of Article 118 of Peru's Political Constitution, the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, and Peru's Consular Regulations.

The resolution bears the signatures of President Keiko Fujimori and Foreign Affairs Minister Carlos Espa.
