The government has appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the Republic of Poland, Gloria Lissette Nalvarte Simoni de Isasi, to serve concurrently as Ambassador to Ukraine, with residence in Warsaw.
The
appointment, which was officialized through Supreme Resolution No. 022-2026-RE and published in the Official Gazette El Peruano, received the approval of the Council of Ministers.
The regulation specifies that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine granted the customary agrément, through a verbal note dated December 31, 2025, allowing the Peruvian diplomat to assume representation before that country.
Gloria Lissette Nalvarte Simoni de Isasi was appointed Ambassador of Peru to Poland through Supreme Resolution No. 146-2024-RE.
She assumed her duties on December 1, 2024, in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. 0853-2024-RE.
The appointment is grounded in Article 118, paragraph 12 of the Political Constitution, which empowers the President of the Republic to appoint ambassadors and ministers plenipotentiary, with the approval of the Council of Ministers and subject to notification to Congress.
Likewise, the issuance of the corresponding letters of credence and full powers is ordered.
The resolution states that the measure does not entail any expenditure for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' budget and is endorsed by the sector's head.
