Puerto Rican-born singer Luis Fonsi has announced his return to Peru after a five-year absence as part of his “Mar Infinito World Tour 2027,” which also includes stops in countries such as Puerto Rico, Chile, Argentina, and Colombia, among others.
Fonsi—who is currently celebrating the inclusion of his hits “Despacito” and “No me doy por vencido” among the 10 most significant songs in the history of Billboard’s “Hot Latin Songs” chart—will perform in Lima on April 23, 2027.
Accompanied by his band and backing vocalists, he will take the stage at the Arena 1 venue, located along the Costa Verde coastal strip in the district of San Miguel.

The concept behind Fonsi’s tour is tied to various aspects of his personal life.
The singer explained that the word “mar” (sea) holds special meaning, as it incorporates the first letters of the names of his daughter, Mika; his wife, Águeda; and his son, Rocco.
In this sense, he noted that the full title, “Mar Infinito” (“Infinite Sea”), stems from a personal connection for the artist, while also aiming to represent a universal bond.
Just as the ocean connects continents, music has allowed Fonsi to bring his songs to different parts of the world and forge connections with audiences from diverse cultures.
“‘Mar Infinito’ represents much of what I am feeling at this moment in my life: everything I have experienced, what remains to be discovered, and, above all, the excitement of returning home and sharing it with my people,” said the singer of “Despacito.”
This year has been more than auspicious for Fonsi, whose salsa-style collaboration with Feid, “Cambiaré,” reached the number one spot on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Tropical Airplay charts.
Furthermore, his recent single “Me despido Remix,” a collaboration with Dalvin La Melodía, has climbed to the number one position on radio stations in Argentina and Chile.
During the “Mar Infinito World Tour 2027,” Fonsi will revisit various stages of his musical career with a repertoire that includes songs such as “Imagíname sin ti,” “Aquí estoy yo,” “No me doy por vencido,” “Corazón en la maleta,” “Échame la culpa,” and “Despacito,” among other tracks from his body of work.
