Lima 2019: Peru's Vasquez claims bronze at Parapan American Games

Peruvian Juana Vasquez won a bronze medal in Para Powerlifting's Women's -50kg at Lima 2019 Parapan American Games on Thursday.

The competition was led by Brazilian Maria Luzineide (79, 85, and 88), who was followed by Mexican Mayra Hernandez (79 and 83).

The Peruvian Para athlete lifted a weight of 40kg to secure the bronze award.

The event took place at VIDENA.
