The
National Production Technical Report, prepared by INEI, stated that all productive sectors showed greater dynamism, except for the Fishing sector. The latter experienced a decline in maritime extraction.
Productive activity increased by 3.32% from January to August 2025, and by 3.59% over the past 12 months (September 2024–August 2025).
Among the sectors that registered increases were: Agriculture and Livestock (+6.43%); Mining and Hydrocarbons (+1.78%); Manufacturing (+0.06%); Electricity, Gas, and Water (+0.95%); Construction (+3.60%); Commerce (+3.78%); Transportation, Storage, and Courier (+4.03%); Accommodation and Restaurants (+0.89%); Telecommunications and Other Information Services (+1.80%); Finance and Insurance (+2.24%); Services Provided to Companies (+3.67%); and Government Services (+4.73%).
On the other hand, the Fishing sector registered lower activity (-11.47%).
