The Cabinet member forecast that non-mining energy shipments would exceed US$25 billion during the current year.
"These achievements will be possible thanks to the efforts by all regions in the country, including exporting micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), added to the plans and actions that we have been and will continue implementing from the Government in favor of the exporting community," Minister Helguero emphasized.
The outlook is auspicious for foreign trade in particular, for exporters who have contributed so much to the decentralized development of this country and the progress of Peruvians, even more so in a context of post-pandemic recovery, he said.

The minister commented that the
2022 export results are the
outcome of national policies, programs, and tools designed by the Foreign Trade sector.
They contribute to the inclusive, decentralized, and sustainable development of exports.
In addition, companies have been making the most of the commercial agreements network and the support of trade offices abroad in order to be present in international markets, he noted.
