In December 2025, 12-month inflation expectations among economic analysts and the financial system declined to 2.13%, the

Meanwhile, the BCR noted that last December all economic agents kept their inflation expectations within the target range for 2026 and 2027.
Accordingly, it indicated that inflation expectations for 2026 stand within a range between 2.10% and 2.20%, following downward revisions by each type of economic agent.
For 2027, agents expect inflation to stand within a range from 2.20% to 2.30%, similar to previous months.
Regarding 2026, economic analysts lowered their inflation expectations from 2.20% to 2.10% between November and December.
In turn, the financial system reduced its forecast from 2.20% to 2.15% over the same period.
Meanwhile, non-financial firms expect inflation to stand at 2.20%.
