Peruvian film "Before Dawn" (La hora azul) directed by Evelyne Pegot-Ogier will be screened at the 31st Chicago Latino Film Festival, America's most important film festival featuring Latin American work on April 23, 2015.
The film is an adaptation of the La Hora Azul novel written by Peruvian Alonso Cueto.
The film will be introduced by film director and producer, Evelyne Pegot-Ogier, and the main actress Jackelyn Vasquez.
Both have traveled to Chicago thanks to the support provided by Promperú (Peru's Export and Tourism Promotion Board) and Marca Perú (Peru's country brand).
The film has drawn the attention of the local media covering the film festival, which are followed by Hispanic Americans living in the US.
The cast of "Before Dawn" includes Giovanni Ciccia, Jackelyn Vasquez, Rossana Fernandez-Maldonado, Aurora Aranda, Lucho Caceres and Reynaldo Arenas.
The film will be released in Peru around mid-year.
