British Ambassador to Peru Kate Harrisson on Friday highlighted the collaboration between Peruvian and British institutions on the clinical trials of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the diplomat, the joint efforts between the two countries —in order to respond to the pandemic and overcome the disease— constitute an important step.
"This confirms that international cooperation is vital to tackle the pandemic," the
British Embassy in Lima said via Twitter.
