Sandoval Group, linked to logistic and trade activities, plans on investing $50 million in the construction and expansion of logistics distribution centers, said the company's president Oswaldo Sandoval.

“Our company will invest about $50 million this year, including the investment made in the new logistics centre - Lima Cargo City - located in the province of Callao,” he stated.

Sandoval Group's main investment will be the construction of a distribution centre for its company DinetPeru, which will be located in the Limean district of Villa El Salvador.

“As of July 1, we will start construction works on a 4-hectare field, which will probably be completed by the end of this year,” he commented.

He said that the estimated investment for this project goes up to $20 million, which will be financed by AC Capitales, an investment fund from the Apoyo Group, which main holder is the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP).

“The 2009 expected turnover is $250 million, which would mean an increase of 22% regarding last year’s”, he said.

Sandoval Group is formed by logistics operator DinetPeru, airport operator Koricancha and supermarket chain MG Rocsa.

It is also the exclusive representative of China's Yuejin Motor through Motors Peru.
