South Korea will provide scientific and technological support to Peru in the strategy implemented to
, President Martín Vizcarra affirmed on Monday afternoon.
The Head of State reported that he had spoken with
South Korean President Moon Jae-in for more than 20 minutes last Sunday and exchanged experiences in managing the coronavirus pandemic.
"There is a commitment to support with the data on how the disease evolved in order to use it as a benchmark for the measures we are taking," he expressed.
In this sense, the top official said that there will be support to face the pandemic from the scientific and technological points of view.
The statesman also pointed out that last week he had spoken with the President of China Xi Jinping with whom he had coordinated the support of that country for the exchange of experience —with equipment and accessories.
Moreover, Mr. Vizcarra recalled that both China and South Korea have responded very well to the COVID-19 pandemic.
