The Port Captaincy of Pisco has decreed today the closing of the Peru LNG-Melchorita Port Terminal due to unusual strong swell.
In this sense, the port will be closed to any maritime-related activity.
The move intends to preserve people's safety.
The order ruling since 11.30 A.M. (local time), was coordinated by the General Directorate of Captaincies and Coastguards of the Peruvian Navy.
The Maritime Authority stipulated to maximize the corresponding measures.
