President Martin Vizcarra on Friday affirmed that all Peruvians must guarantee
After recalling that he will leave office on that day, the top official underlined the relevance of the population choosing —by casting a responsible vote— the person who will succeed him at the Government Palace.
"I am sure that the responsible political class, which worships and defends democracy, will not allow any pretext to be used for the
postponement of elections, (especially) now that we see the intentions and we are understanding why there is so much eagerness to attack the government (...)," he added.
Within this framework, Mr. Vizcarra underlined that 13 ministers are visiting the country's inland regions today.
As he remarked, connecting with the people is one of his administration's State policies.
