Peru's President arrives in Cusco on working visit

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Sunday morning arrived in the region of Cusco to carry out official duties in Pichari and Sacsayhuaman.

During this trip, the Head of State is accompanied by Peruvian First Lady Lilia Paredes.

In Pichari, Mr. Castillo is expected to participate in the inauguration of CITE-Agroindustrial VRAEM, which is intended to promote competitiveness among producers and companies linked to the coffee and cacao productive chain.

A CITE is a productive innovation and agroindustrial technological transfer center.

Later, in Sacsayhuaman, the President will launch the Second Agrarian Reform to increase social inclusion of more than 2.2 million small-scale producers dedicated to family agriculture.

Peru's Prime Minister Guido Bellido and State ministers will also participate in said activity.
