The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday assured that nothing will distract his administration from the efforts it undertakes for the benefit of the population.

According to the Head of State, his administration works as a team, facing problems in a multisectoral manner —along with regional governors, provincial and district mayors, as well as the population.

"We are willing to work together, leaving the bureaucratic desk or office in Lima," he emphasized.

After remarking that this work aims to offer improvements in citizens' quality of life, income, and the education sector, he mentioned that in Lambayeque region 330,000 households will receive the government grant known as the Universal Family Bonus.

The top official also recalled that the general elections will be held on April 11, 2021. Thus, everyone must guarantee their completion, in order to elect authorities who will give continuity to the works.

"Let's keep working, there is much to be done," he said.

Remarks were made after participating in the launch of the project titled "Improvement and adjustment of the irrigation system of Zaña River Valley" in Peru's northern Lambayeque region.
