The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Wednesday affirmed that 4.2 million households will have received the
second Universal Family Bonus by early November, thus meaning half of the total beneficiaries.
"Until November 5, half of the total, about 4.2 million households, will each have received the corresponding amount of
S/760 (about US$223) in their accounts," he expressed.
"We have started with the distribution of the second Universal Family Bonus on the 10th. October has not ended yet, and more than 2.8 million people have already received it," he added.
Today's remarks were made during a televised address to the nation from the Government Palace in Lima.
President Vizcarra was joined by Prime Minister Walter Martos and other Cabinet members on the occasion.
