The top official underscored the importance of replacing the extractive approach to natural resource use with one that prioritizes industrialization while addressing young people's demands regarding their rights and the future they will inherit.
Likewise, the president stressed the need to end the normalization of corruption in governance within society, noting that the National Agreement has an important role to play through its work.
"I believe in the National Agreement Forum. No political party can afford to ignore this forum, which looks ahead to the country's future," he emphasized.
The informational session was also attended by Cabinet Chief Luis Arroyo, National Agreement Executive Secretary Max Hernandez, Cabinet ministers, regional governors, and mayors.
