The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Wednesday reiterated that
, which includes the resumption of activities and the expansion of capacity for already-authorized activities.
The Head of State explained that the capacity of some businesses will be expanded, but in a fairly responsible manner.
"The stores, which used to be allowed to host 50% of the total amount of people, for which they had been built, can now welcome 60%. Restaurants' capacity is rising from 40% to 50%," he indicated.
"Those activities will resume in due course, but this decision has not been made yet; please, respect the restrictions that are still in force for the sake of the health of all Peruvians," he said.
Today's remarks were made in a press conference held at the Government Palace in Lima.
President Vizcarra was joined by Prime Minister Walter Martos and other Cabinet members on the occasion.
