Prime Minister Walter Martos on Tuesday affirmed that his administration's priority is —without a doubt— the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
In his speech to Parliament, Martos remarked that the current trends have to be reversed. Besides, the strategies must be deepened and focused.
"Our strategy covers prevention —consisting of containment and mitigation measures— as well as the optimization of the hospital supply," the Cabinet chief emphasized.
In accordance with Article 130 of the Constitution,
the President of the Council of Ministers must attend Congress —joined by his Cabinet— to present the Government's general policy and the principal measures pursued by the Executive Branch.
