Prime Minister Walter Martos on Tuesday affirmed that
his Cabinet seeks a confidence vote convinced that concerted efforts are needed to tackle the coronavirus pandemic and to ensure the economic recovery in the country.
"We go (to Congress) with the hope that we all love our homeland and that, despite the differences, we can work (together) against the pandemic, towards recovery and through all the problems the country is facing," he affirmed.
In accordance with Article 130 of the Constitution, the President of the Council of Ministers must attend Congress —joined by his Cabinet— to present the Government's general policy and the principal measures pursued by the Executive Branch.
